A  personal   exploration of photography with film.

It would be quite natural to ask the question .... why?

Why with so much digital to choose from why bother with the expense and trouble of shooting film.

Kodak and Fuji are making films of a standard and quality we are never likely to see again. Kodak Ektar and Portra films are beautiful films and I am still to explore many of the Fuji films, although I have used Reala for many years and Fuji's excellant transparency range has become a Landscape shooters first choice in many situations.

The next few pages will help to show you why I do take the trouble to shoot film, I particularly like Rollei cameras like the TLR Rolleiflex, I also have a Minolta Autocord along with other medium format cameras I will gradually introduce to the site. My Corfield WA67 is unusual and not a camera you come across everyday. The Razzledog is another that many will not be aware of.

Please do not expect any in depth dissections of film versus digital or this lens against that  lens, there is plenty of that on the www. to read and lots of different opinions to choose from.
